Hello,

My name is Mr. Berry. I teach sixth grade teacher here at Olive Drive Elementary School. I have been teaching sixth grade for the Norris School district since 2002.  One of my favorite things about teaching sixth grade is our trip to Camp K.E.E.P.  

 

I was born in Los Angeles, California and moved to Bakersfield to run track and cross country for Bakersfield College and earn my Associates of Arts degree.  After several years of working in software development for businesses, I started my own small business in the construction industry.  I operated a small residential and commercial cabinet manufacturing business for approximately fifteen years. Eventually, I returned to college to earn my Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies at CSUB, sold my business, and started my third career as teacher.

 

I am an avid runner and I enjoy being in nature hiking with my family.  I love to fish and keep my hand in woodworking.
