Welcome to Olive Drive Elementary, home of the Blazers!  It is my honor to serve as the Principal at such an AMAZING school with a staff that is amongst the BEST of the BEST.  I look forward to building relationships with students, families, and community.  Every child and every family are integral parts of what make Olive Drive Elementary such a special place!  Together, we are a team and family.  

Over the course of my 22 years in Education, I have served as a Teacher at Norris Elementary and William B. Bimat Elementary, a District Administrator, and Dean of Students at Norris MIddle School.  The Norris School District is my home and I firmly believe its rich traditions and values, as well as the support of the community are what set us apart and keep families coming back generation after generation!

Every child deserves an opportunity to learn, grow, and continually develop academically, socially, and emotionally.  Every child deserves the right to be listened to in a meaningful way and to be a part of solutions when problems arise. Every child deserves a rich environment where they can be challenged, encouraged, and supported by teachers and staff who genuinely love and care for them.  Our teaching staff has been passionately preparing their classrooms, while our support staff has been preparing the campus with pride. We are ALL eagerly awaiting the arrival of students’ laughter and excitement to fill the halls throughout this year! 

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year, and as the famous Dr. Seuss once said, “You’re off to GREAT PLACES (Olive Drive Elementary), today is YOUR DAY, your MOUNTAIN is waiting, so… GET ON YOUR WAY!”
